Ken Budd Interviewed about Happiness, Travel, and Living without Regrets
“No one wants their life defined by the things they didn’t do,” Ken Budd says in a new interview with LifeReimagined.com. “You’ve got to get rid of the fear: the fear of failure, the fear of something new.”
Ken discusses the circumstances that led him to volunteer around the world, a journey recounted in his critically acclaimed memoir, The Voluntourist. The interview also appears on PurpleClover.com; Ken was profiled for a May 2013 story in Convene magazine as well.
The Voluntourist recently won silver in the 2013 Nautilus Book Awards and the 2012 North American Travel Journalist Association Awards. All of Ken’s earnings from the book are going back to the places and organizations where he volunteered.
