Journeys for Good Runs Interview with Ken Budd on Voluntourism

The web site Journeys4Good.com has posted a two-part interview with Ken discussing his personal journey, voluntourism, and The Voluntourist. Here’s part one and part two. “The takeaway for me was not that everyone should rush out and volunteer overseas,” Ken says in the interview, part of Journeys for Good’s “Ripple Effect” series. “It’s that we don’t get much time here, and we should embrace this incredibly rare opportunity to experience life, and that we live a good life by being a good friend, a good neighbor, a good brother, a good spouse. That we find success from helping others succeed, as my father said.”

Journeys for Good provides “the inspiration and information you need to find the perfect voluntourism experience.”
